Our spiritual power and presence can be awakened by focusing on the breath, each breath. In order to live in alignment with the Divine, we must awaken to Spirit and breathe in harmony with it. What can we do to accomplish this? Taking one breath at a time, mindfully. With an awareness of our spiritual power, we can create the energy and motivation to manifest our dreams.
The gift of our breath can also bring us back to alignment when we feel we have lost sight of our intentions. This is when we are not in alignment with our goals. It is inevitable that we will get off track-it does not have to be a problem. Our concern is what to do when we get sidetracked? As we breathe, we are reminded that we are always capable of shifting and realigning, starting over again.
Steps to do breath work on a daily basis
Feel more relaxed by picturing and saying something in your mind while you breath deeply.
In case you have your eyes open, close them.
Breathe deeply for a few breaths.
Let's breathe in. Imagine the air is filled with a sense of peace and calm as you do that. You should be able to feel it all throughout your body.
Take a deep breath out. Imagine that while you're doing it, your stress and tension are leaving the air.
Let's use a word or phrase with our breath. Breathe in calm and peace in your mind as you breathe out.
Say to yourself in your mind, "I breathe out stress and tension as I breathe out." "I breath in love, peace and gratitude.
